While the USL League Two and W League season are long in the rearview mirror, Vermont Green FC is still stealing the headlines.
Chris Taylor and Abby Carchio were both named Eastern Conference Coach of the Year. Taylor led Vermont to its second straight League Two title while Carchio led the Green to the USL W League Final in the side's debut campaign.
The coaches weren't the only members of Vermont to earn honors. Brandon Marshall, Connor Miller, and Jeremy Francou have been named to the 2026 USL League Two Eastern Conference Team of the Year.
Marshall captained the Green in 2026, starting 16 league matches. The center back played 1,429 minutes on the road to a title. Miller appeared in 17 league matches, as he scored six goals and six assists.
Francou appeared in 16 league matches in 2026, starting 11. He scored 18 goals, breaking the club’s single-season goals record. He also scored five goals against Connecticut Rush on July 7, another club record. Francou was also named 2026 Northeast Division Player of the Year.
Violet Rademacher and Chloe Gorman were also recognized for their performance in the Eastern Conference. Rademacher made 10 appearances for the Green in 2026, scoring a team-leading five goals, all of which came from set pieces. Gorman played every minute of Vermont Green’s inaugural season.
The Green also saw two former players make their MLS debuts. Zach Zengue appeared in St.Louis CITY SC's 3-3 draw with FC Dallas. On Saturday, Enzo Dovlo also made his debut for Atlanta United.
Zengue and Dovlo join the likes of Jackson Castro and Ayoub Lajhar, who have made their MLS debuts. Vermont had six players get drafted in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
