What’s better than one Vermont Green team? TWO Vermont Green teams!
In addition to the organization's USL League Two side, 2026 will see the introduction of a Vermont Green women's team, which will feature in the newly formed USL W League.
Vermont’s inaugural USL W season sees them placed in the Northeast Division alongside Hartford Athletic, AC Connecticut, New England Mutiny, and Hudson Valley Crusaders.
Vermont Green co-founder Patrick Infurna said, “It’s been a multi-year journey to get to this point, and we’re ready to compete for trophies in the country’s top pre-professional women’s league.”
While new to USL W, Vermont Green is no stranger to the women’s game. The club has hosted three women’s exhibition games in which USWNT legend Sam Mewis guided the Green to victories in every match in front of sold-out crowds at Virtue Field.
