Vermont Green FC fans will have a lot of soccer to watch as the USL League Two and USL W League campaign kicks off in May. Both squads added to their rosters prior to the start of the season.
The USL W League side added Brook Birtwistle, Liv Grenda, Daisy Granholm, Sydney Remington, Louisa Thomsen, and Anna Leschly.
Birtwistle plays collegiately for Brown University and started all 17 games for the Bears in her sophomore season. She racked up four assists in the fall.
Grenda plays for Dayton University and the midfielder started all 22 matches for the Flyers. Grenda scored six goals in her sophomore season and was named Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year.
Granholm plays collegiately for Dartmouth University. In her final season, she appeared in 16 games and tallied seven goals and two assists.
Remington played collegiately for the University of Vermont. She played in 18 matches in the fall and scored seven goals and four assists. Remington's performance earned her America East All-Conference First-Team honors.
Thomson is a Vermont native but plays collegiately for Bucknell. The defender played in 18 games in the fall and scored two goals and three assists.
Finally, Leschly is also a Dartmouth player. She earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Ivy honors and was called up to the United States U20 National Team in October.
On the USL League Two side, Andrew Millar will return after playing in the U.S. Open Cup. He was a member of the UVM national championship squad and was a captain for the Catamounts in 2025.
The Green also added Brendan Lambe and Samson Kpardeh. Lambe previously appeared for Atlanta United 2 and is a midfielder at the University of Virginia.
Kpardeh is coming off a memorable season at Gardner-Webb. The winger started all 16 matches and scored eight goals and two assists. The Worcester, MA native spent one season with the New England Revolution Academy and will play for Liberty University in the fall.
