Three players who featured in the initial women's exhibition matches will be returning to Vermont Green FC for the women's side debut USL W League season. Molly Martin, Violet Rademacher, and Olivia Shippee were the first three players to be named to Abby Carchio's squad.
Martin started 21 games for Penn State in 2025. The Acton, Massachusetts midfielder scored four assists and a goal. Rademacher – a fellow midfielder – tallied six goals in 16 appearances for the University of Portland.
Shippee started all 18 matches in net for Boston College. She made 77 saves with a .846 save percentage.
Carchio and the Green will begin training in Burlington in early May, and will make their competitive debut against Hartford Athletic on Tuesday, May 19 in Connecticut.
