We heard you loud and clear that you wanted us to get off Substack and we have joined the bevy of soccer websites hosted here on Ghost.
This move will allow us to hopefully have better visibility, more customization options, and also the added benefit that doesn't platform Nazis.
If you have any issues don't hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to make the transition as easy as possible for you.
In 2025 we had a dedicated team covering the New England Revolution, Revs II, Hartford Athletic, and Rhode Island FC, Vermont Green FC, Boston Legacy FC and Portland Hearts of Pine. As compiled by Seth Macomber, in 2025, our site produced over 1,300 articles, including:
- 520 about the New England Revolution
- 136 about New England Revolution II
- 125 about Portland Hearts of Pine
- 121 about Hartford Athletic
- 86 about Rhode Island FC
- 72 about Boston Legacy FC

We couldn't provide the coverage that we do without all the writers and photographers who labor either behind a computer or a camera. I can't thank you enough for all that you do.
We also have partnered with a variety of podcasts. Revolution Recap is the preeminent podcast covering the Revs, Raising Anchor has you covered for all things RIFC, and United In Green keeps us up to date on what is happening in Vermont. Additionally, we partnered with From The Forest to The Tide, the best Portland Hearts of Pine podcast.
We even launched our own podcast, The Blazing Musket podcast. Thomas Pinzone has done a great job hosting and has had some fantastic convos along the way.

So what’s in store for 2026? You have probably heard everyone saying this but 2026 will be a massive year for soccer which in turn is a massive year for our site.
The New England Revolution are entering a new era, Rhode Island FC will look to make their third straight Eastern Conference Final, Hartford Athletic will look to build on its trophy winning campaign, Portland Hearts of Pine will look to follow up one of the most successful debuts in USL history and Vermont Green FC will look to repeat as USL League Two champions. Boston Legacy FC will also begin its inaugural campaign, and there is an MLS NEXT Pro team in Connecticut.
Oh yeah, there is also a World Cup.
Essentially there will be a lot of soccer and we will be there to tell you all the stories whether it be on or off the field. There is no site that covers soccer like we do and we will do our best to cover everything that is going on in the region.
