The New England Revolution roster saw a change as the club announced defender Santiago “Tiago” Suarez would be joining USL Championship side San Antonio FC on loan through the end of the 2026 USL Championship season.
2026 will mark the second consecutive season Suarez has been away on loan. He spent the 2025 season on loan with USL Championship side Birmingham Legion FC, finishing the season with 1,808 minutes clocked in 25 appearances across all competitions.
After starting his career in the Sacramento Republic FC Academy, Tiago made the trek to New England on November 28, 2022. Despite being elevated to a Homegrown contract in 2024, Suarez has featured exclusively with the club’s MLS NEXT Pro side Revolution II, where he’s made 50 appearances while tallying a goal over 3,969 minutes.
