VGFC News: Vermont Signs Experienced Forward, Former Forward Headed to Vancouver
The Green's midfield gains some experience while a former forward begins professional career
Vermont Green FC has made another addition ahead of the 2025 season while a former player will be headed to the Pacific Northwest.
The Green announced that they have signed 25-year-old forward Arnaud Tattevin. The forward from Rennes, France comes off a regular season co-Championship campaign where he scored 7 goals in 16 appearances for the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Tattevin started his career in the youth system of his hometown Rennes before signing as a professional. In 2021, he joined Paris FC, where he competed in France’s Ligue 2. Tattevin also has two international caps with the Central African Republic national team.
Additionally, former Vermont Green forward Jackson Castro has signed with Whitecaps FC 2. Castro is signed through 2025, with an option for 2026. The forward led the University of Creighton Bluejays with nine goals and seven assists during his senior season in 2024.
