USMNT News: Concacaf Nations League Finals Roster Announced, Stars and Stripes Coming to Connecticut
The United States Men’s National Team has announced its roster for Concacaf Nations League Finals and fans of the stars and stripes in New England got some great news.
Looking at the roster for the Nations League, New England is well represented with former New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner and former Western Mass Pioneers striker Patrick Agyemang earning call-ups. Turner’s next appearance will be his 50th cap for the national team.
While there are not a lot of surprises, the inclusion of Diego Luna is worth noting. The RSL midfielder beat out the likes of Brenden Aaronsen and Alex Zendejas to earn a spot on the roster.
Midfielder Tyler Adams also is making his return to the USMNT for the first time since Copa América 2024. He is joined by Cameron Carter-Vickers, and Gio Reyna who will take part in their first camps under Mauricio Pochettino.
“This is a massive opportunity to win a trophy and that is our clear objective,” Pochettino said. “We must continue to show our quality, our bravery and our commitment to each other. We have an important moment to represent our country and our supporters, and we are very excited for this opportunity.”
