Two Vermont Green FC Players Headed to MLS College Showcase
Two players will be showing off their skills to gain the attention of MLS clubs
Stephane Njike and Enzo Dovlo will get the chance to show off their skills in front of Major League Soccer scouts.
Njike and Dovlo were members of the 2025 USL League Two championship-winning roster will get to participate in MLS’ College Showcase. The four-day talent evaluation event will give technical staffs from MLS clubs an opportunity to scout top collegiate prospects in the nation ahead of 2026 MLS SuperDraft, which will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
“Each year we see young breakout players who previously shined at the MLS College Showcase go on to make a meaningful impact at the first-team level,” said Alecko Eskandarian, vice president, player relations and player development. “This event is a crucial opportunity for our clubs to evaluate the nation’s top collegiate talent, and we are thrilled to welcome these 45 standout individuals to a life-changing showcase in Arizona this year.”
Njike played 18 games for the Maryland Terrapines and scored seven goals and seven assists. The Terps season came to an end in the elite eight of the NCAA Tournament.
Dovlo had a similarly impressive season with University of North Carolina (Greensboro), scoring 10 goals and eight assists in 23 games played. UNCG’s season came to an end in the third round of the NCAA tourney.
The pair will look to join the growing list of Vermont Green FC players who have been drafted into MLS. Owen O’Malley, Reid Fisher, Nate Jones, Zach Zengue, Eythor Bjorgolfsson, and Sydney Wathuta all had their names called in the draft since Vermont’s inception.
