Three Thoughts On The Revolution's Off-Season Transfers (So Far)
It's been an active off-season so far.
The New England Revolution have certainly been active during the off-season.
They declined the options for Xavier Arreaga, Joshua Bolma, Dylan Borrero, Nacho Gil, Nick Lima, Tommy McNamara, and Jonathan Mensah. Meanwhile, Tim Parker, Damian Rivera, Ryan Spaulding, and Bobby Wood are out of contract.
The Revs also traded Ian Harkes, Mark-Anthony Kaye, and Dave Romney to the San Jose Earthquakes.
They have welcomed three new additions: centerbacks Mamadou Fofana (from Amiens SC) and Brayan Ceballos (from Fortaleza), as well as free agent midfielder Jackson Yueill (formerly of San Jose).

Bold Moves
The 2024 season wasn’t a good one for the Revolution, so it makes sense that the Revs are making changes.
It would’ve been easy to re-sign players like Arreaga and Borrero, who had positive moments. Instead, the club hit the reset button.
