According to Territorio MLS’ Tiago Brandao, the New England Revolution are interested in acquiring Brazilian winger Juninho.
The 22-year-old striker played in 84 games for Vasco Da Gama and tallied just one goal. Juninho has most recently played for Orlando City where he made 23 appearances for the second team and two first-team appearances while on loan. The 22-year-old tallied two goals and five assists in MLS NEXT pro.
With Vasco da Gama not renewing his contract, Orlando City and the Colorado Rapids are also interested in the winger according to Brandao. Territotio MLS also reports that other Brazilian clubs are interested in acquiring the 22-year-old.
Brandao is likely looking for first-team minutes, but he would be a welcome addition to Revs II. With the first-team roster quite tight at the moment and boasting an impressive number of wingers, it would be difficult for him to gain minutes in MLS play.
