After a one-week new apartment-related hiatus the best New England Revolution notebook in the world is back. Did I really miss much though? New England fell to a far superior LAFC team (even if Carles Gil was fully healthy) last week and it showed the team has a long way to go which we all knew.

This week the Revolution took care of business with a 1-0 win at home over the always thorny Nashville SC. This was a game the Revs should have won being at home and they did, mission accomplished. Despite a chilly evening on the artic tundra called Gillette Stadium, this match was wide open with chances going both ways.

There are two main storylines for New England at this point of the season. How severe is Carles Gil’s injury and will Giacomo Vroni figure it out?
