Revolution II Sign Defender Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi

Richie Williams adds depth in defense with the signing of former Michigain Wolverine and Dearborn, MI native Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi!

First-year head coach Richie Williams and Revolution II bolstered the back line on Friday as the club announced the signing of 23-year-old defender Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi to a deal through the remainder of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season with a one-year club option for 2025!

Al-Hasnawi joins New England Revolution II after spending five years at the University of Michigan. The Dearborn native appeared in 48 matches for the Wolverines, where he tallied three goals and four assists. The Stoke City Academy graduate earned All-Big Ten Academic honors in all four seasons he played in Michigan.

Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi will look to make his Revolution II debut tomorrow as they host red-hot Chicago Fire II inside Gillette Stadium at 1:00 PM ET.
