Revolution II Sign Defender Hesron Barry
The 24-year-old joins Revs II following two seasons with University of Wisconsin-Green Bay!
As New England Revolution II prepares to depart for Bradenton, Florida, the club added depth to the back line as they announced the signing of Hesron Barry to a one-year contract.
Barry joins Revolution II after spending the last two years at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. During his time with the Phoenix’s, Barry appeared in 30 matches and clocked 2,540 minutes. Before joining Green Bay, he played at Barton Community College and CSU Bakersfield.
Barry racked up numerous individual awards during his time in Green Bay. He received back-to-back Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year honors during his two seasons. Barry also received All-League First Team, United Soccer Coaches Association All-Region First Team, and Academic All-Horizon honors.
In 2023, Barry and the Phoenix earned a berth in the NCAA College Cup after finishing the season with a 10-3-5 record! Unfortunately, a 3-0 loss to Western Michigan saw Green Bay's run in the competition end.
Revolution II will travel to IMG Academy and begin a multi-week preseason camp that features at least three friendlies against MLS NEXT Pro and USL Championship opposition.
