Revolution 3, Houston 3: Three Thoughts
Revs find success via low crosses, plus two more thoughts.
The New England Revolution played their third preseason game on Monday, tying the Houston Dynamo 3-3 in a 120-minute game.
The match wasn’t streamed, but we’re here to give you our three thoughts, as always.
Before we begin, it’s important to note that head coach Caleb Porter said the Revs played “two groups, 60 minutes each.”
The first 60 minutes concluded 2-2. Leo Campana scored in the 25th minute then Ezequiel Ponce equalized in the 43rd. Alhassan Yusuf put the Revs ahead in the 48th before Ponce got his second in the 58th.
In the second 60 minutes, each team scored a goal. Marcos Dias got one in the 97th minute, and Mattheo Dimareli got one in the 109th.
