Report: RIP MLS Season Pass
The Athletic was the first to report that MLS Season Pass will now be integrated with Apple Tv instead of its own separate subscription
As the MLS shifts its calendar, there will also be changes in how you watch games.
According to The Athletic, MLS Season Pass will no longer be its own separate subscription service. Now, fans who already have an AppleTV subscription will be able to watch MLS games.
Since the 10-year, $2.5B deal started in 2023, MLS and Apple have sold access to all of the league’s matches as a standalone subscription While select matches were made available for free without a subscription and others were made available to Apple TV subscribers (formerly Apple TV+), the only way to secure access to all MLS matches was through MLS Season Pass.
According to the Sports Business Journal, Season-ticket holders across the league, who have previously received a complimentary subscription to MLS Season Pass, will now receive an annual Apple TV subscription at no additional cost.

F1 for free baby!!
Getting an annual Apple TV subscription for free instead of season pass for free is actually worth way more for season tickets. That alone is great. But also having games be behind one less barrier is great.
