Prince Saydee Signs With Westchester SC
Prince Saydee, who departed the Ocean State halfway through 2024, joins the USL League One club ahead of their first season.
Westchester Soccer Club announced the signings of three new players ahead of their inaugural USL League One season, including former Rhode Island FC and Hartford Athletic forward Prince Saydee.
Saydee, who departed Rhode Island about halfway through the 2024 season to join Charleston Battery joins former teammate Conor McGlynn as Westchester prepares for their inaugural season.
The Liberian international joins Westchester SC with an impressive resume in his professional career, having began playing professionally with Slovakian side Slovan Bratislava in 2016 before making the move to the United States to play with Atlanta SC in 2019. He’s previously played for several other clubs in USL, including Miami FC, Phoenix Rising FC, and Hartford Athletic.
Saydee, as well as McGlynn, join a team that already has a vast amount of USL and professional experience, such as Kemar Lawrence.
Rhode Island will head to Memorial Field on April 27th to face off against Westchester FC for the first time in the inaugural Jägermeister Cup.
