Podcasts seem to be all the rave nowadays so it is time that The Blazing Musket got in on the action.
You might have noticed that we have been partnering with various podcasts. It all started when we partnered with the iconic Revolution Recap and it has seen us have partner podcasts located in four of the six New England states covering the game from USL 2 to of course back to the top of the pyramid with Recap.
But it can take a whole lot of time to hear about all the soccer news that is happening in New England. The soccer scene is heating up with the arrival of BOS Nation FC and Portland Hearts of Pine as well as the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
And that is why I am proud to announce The Blazing Musket Podcast will be entering the proverbial match.
A lot of websites have podcasts but I am glad to admit that between covering the Revs and managing the site, it wasn’t particularly something that I had time for. I hosted one episode of Revolution Recap and was shown how much work running a podcast takes. Also, editing isn’t fun either.
So stepping up to the plate is host Thomas Pinzone. He will be taking listeners on a journey throughout all of New England soccer whether it be through the Green Mountains of Vermont all the way down to the Ocean State of Rhode Island (and maybe even Connecticut though is that really a New England state).
Thomas will be joined by New England soccer experts as well as some national-level media members. On top of releasing an audio podcast, paid subscribers will also get access to the video version of the podcast.
So make sure to subscribe to The Blazing Musket Podcast wherever you listen to your podcasts and for those who prefer video, keep an eye out for posts on the site.
This is a great idea, and I'm excited to tune in! This will be a great way to stay up to speed with everything happening
Another podcast about NE soccer--YES! I love revs recap and NE soccer today. And I love even more when Sam or someone else goes on one of those. Not a big fan of the RIFC podcast..I feel like raising anchor is very anti MLS and anti Revs for no reason at all. So I'm looking forward to having an alternate podcast for some RIFC news.
