Gevork Diarbian signs with Vermont Green FC
The New England Revolution academy product will be headed up north
Vermont Green FC announced their first signing that will be making their debut for the Green in 2023.
New England Revolution academy product Gevork Diarbian signed with Vermont pending league and federation approval. Diarbian plays collegiately at Providence College where he has started in 47 games, scoring 10 goals and 12 assists in three seasons.
The forward’s scoring will be needed after the departure of Eythor Bjørgolffson who was drafted by the Seattle Sounders and was signed by Tacoma Defiance of MLS Next Pro.
The Green also announced that they will be bringing back Daniel Pacella who was a part of the USL League Two club’s debut season. The midfielder played in 11 games for Vermont and had two assists for the Green.
Pacella is the captain of the University of Vermont’s soccer team and appeared in 20 games. He also managed to score his first NCAA goal.
