GAM and Games: MLS Releases 2025 GAM Amounts and 2025 Schedule
Transparency and times
Thursday was filled with announcements for New England Revolution fans. Those on the outside looking in got a look at the books as well as the teams that New England will be facing in 2025.
Major League Soccer released the amount of General Allocation Money that each club has heading into 2025. The Revolution have the second most in the league with $5,585,931.
That is good news as New England still has pieces to add in the offseason. If the Revs are looking to add experienced MLS players, having this much GAM can be a valuable tool.
In terms of the schedule, there will be many marquee matchups. New England’s 2025 campaign begins with a trip to Nashville SC on February 22. The Revs’ home opener follows March 1 with a battle against the Columbus Crew.
April and May will see the Revolution hitting the road as they only have two matches at home in those two months. One of those home matches will be the return of Bruce Arena as his San Jose Earthquakes come to Gillette Stadium on May 17.
June sees New England play all three of its matches at home including battles against FC Cincy and the Colorado Rapids. July sees Inter Miami and Lionel Messi visit New England in a midweek matchup on July 9. Another heavy hitter will come to Gillette Stadium as LAFC crosses the country to take on the Revs on August 16. The Revolution conclude their season at home with a match against the Chicago Fire on October 18.
