Familiar Faces Join Vermont Green FC
The Green have added two more players to their roster
Vermont Green FC has announced two signings that will be well known to head coach and sporting director Adam Pfeifer.
Vermont’s first-ever player Oliver Martin will be returning for the 2023 season. Martin trained regularly with the club in its inaugural season, but only featured in one exhibition match while dealing with a groin injury according to the club.
In his freshman season with the Wolverines, Martin appeared in seven games but failed to tally any goals or assists.
The 2023 squad will also feature Amerlin Nemeye, who joins the club after completing his collegiate career playing under Pfeifer at Norwich University. Nemeye racked up 14 assists in his senior season with the Cadets.
Nemeye also plays with local club Juba Star FC and is the fourth player from the club to sign for the Green. The two clubs will face off in a friendly match on July 9, 2023.
