Djordje Petrovic Named to 2023 MLS All-Star Team
Djordje is headed to D.C.
New England Revolution goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has been named to the 2023 MLS All-Star team. It is the first All-Star nod in his young MLS career.
Petrovic is having another stellar season in New England making 75 saves (77.3 save percentage) and has six clean sheets. Since joining the Revolution in 2022, the goalkeeper has made 160 saves and 13 clean sheets while facing 16 penalty kicks in 39 games played.
Petrovic’s amazing shot-stopping ability has made him a fan-favorite and with the all-star nod, he will be able to show off his skills on a bit of a larger scale.
How is it even possible that Gil wasn't selected? A former league MVP, who is in the MVP conversation again this year *has* to be an MLS all-star.
77.3% save percentage.. what a pointless stat. Give us something that matters.
