While the New England Revolution have made a major move in acquiring Jack Harrison, the club is still looking to make some moves.
“We’re certainly always looking," Revolution general manager and chief soccer officer Chris Tierney said when asked by The Blazing Musket about the transfer outlook. "Back to the old cliché that any executive will sit up here and say, we’re always looking to improve the team in any way we can. We have the ability and room to do so. We do have some targets identified that we’re still working on. Those deals need to make sense for us and need to check boxes in terms of the things I’ve spoken about before, the on-field performance of the players but also what they add to our culture. We are engaging with a couple of targets currently, and we hope to make one, possibly two, more additions this window.”
New England definitely still has some needs. With the departure of Brayan Ceballos, center back depth is a need. Additionally, the team could make moves at the midfield or as further depth at outside back.
The Revs are also rumored to be making an outbound move. Multiple reports having CF Montreal looking to land Luca Langoni but reportedly the valuation from Montreal doesn't line up with what New England wants.

While Harrison is sure to slot in at winger on one flank, that would make Peyton Miller a starter up top. This would be a lot of pressure for a teenager who was primarily playing outside back prior to this campaign.
While New England is at the top of the Eastern Conference, it is pleasing to see that Tierney is still looking to improve. It shows that the club doesn't simply want to make the playoffs, it wants to make a run.
After a rough couple of seasons, it is the type of investment that Revolution fans deserve.
