New England Revolution II bolstered its roster on Thursday with the additions of defender Schinieder Mimy and goalkeeper Matthew Tibbetts.

Mimy signs a one-year deal with Revolution II after New England selected the 25-year-old defender with the 38th overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.

Mimy’s collegiate career began at Oral Roberts, where he tallied a goal and four assists in 34 appearances with the Golden Eagles. The graduate student spent the 2025 season with UCLA, where he tallied an assist in six appearances with the Bruins.

Former Revolution Academy prospect Matthew Tibbets returns to the organization after signing with Revs II following a four-year collegiate career at American University.

The Westborough, Massachusetts native’s time with American University saw him tally 189 saves and nine shutouts in 56 appearances with the Eagles. Tibbetts comes off an incredible 2025 season that saw him take home the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year Award after 53 saves and a .736 save percentage in conference play.

2025 also saw Tibbetts gain experience with USL League Two side New England FC, where he notched four clean sheets in 10 appearances.

As an Academy prospect, Tibbetts featured in the 2022 Under-19 team that secured the first of two consecutive U19 titles.

On top of a guarantee for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season, Tibbetts’ deal also includes a one-year club option.

With Mimy and Tibbetts’ additions, the New England Revolution II roster increased to 12 players under contract for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.
