Initial Reactions:
After struggling with health throughout the summer, it’s great to see the Revolution turn that around heading into the end of the regular season.
The biggest relief has to be seeing defender Ilay Feingold’s name taken off the injury report. The right back has been out of action since before the World Cup break that required him to undergo a minor procedure during the break. Feingold’s last appearance came on April 25.
It’s also good to see winger Luca Langoni not completely out of the picture after missing the last four matches with a lower body injury. The Argentine winger has been a key source of production for New England in 2026 with three goals and a co-team-leading six assists in 15 appearances.
On the flip side, Wessam Abou Ali remains out after undergoing season-ending surgery to repair an ACL and meniscus injury in April.
Sekou Bangoura will miss a fourth-straight match as the midfielder deals with an ankle injury. Bangoura’s debut season in Columbus has seen him notch a goal in 19 appearances across all competitions for the Crew.
Rudy Camacho will miss his third-straight match after exiting August 19th’s meeting with CF Montreal just 14 minutes into the match. Camacho had tallied one assist in 21 appearances across all competitions.
Jamal Thiare is listed as questionable after missing seven matches across MLS and Leagues Cup action. Thiare’s last appearance for Columbus came on August 1 clocking 86 minutes in a draw with Inter Miami. The 33-year-old forward has notched two goals in 15 appearances across all competitions.
