Portland Hearts of Pine officially announced that it had transferred striker Emiliano Terzaghi to Sarasota Paradise. The three-time golden boot winner only made four apperances for Portland.

Prior to the departure, the club had also announced that it had acquired Houston Dynamo 2 midfielder Diego Gonzalez on loan from Houston Dynamo 2. Gonzalez had a standout 2024 season with Houston Dynamo 2, as he scored six goals, and co-lead MLS NEXT Pro with 10 assists. His performances was enough to earn him a place on the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Best XI.

But in 2025 he suffered a serious injury and missed the entire season. In 2026 he has played in 11 games and has scored a goal and an assist.

“We are excited to get this deal done for Diego,” Hearts of Pine head coach Bobby Murphy said in a statement. “He is an exciting young talent who fills a need for us in the attacking midfield area, and we’re looking forward to bringing him into the group.”
