Sunday saw first team goalkeeper Donovan Parisian get some reps with Revolution II as he started in the club’s meeting with regional rivals CT United FC.

The 2025 MLS SuperDraft pick came up big as he ended the match with four saves, helping guide Revolution II to a 2-0 shutout victory.

Parisian expressed his gratitude for having a well-versed and experienced mind like Matt Turner around. Parisian said having Turner as a mentor is a game-changer and highlighted how his return to New England has helped him develop as a goalkeeper.

“I feel like my knowledge of the game and my attitude have changed so much since he’s returned to the Revolution," Parisian said. "Being able to pick his brain, him teaching us a lot of things I would have never have never thought about. There’s so many things he’s taught me that I’m very thankful for. He’s here working, preparing for the World Cup, and he’s super intense in his training. I want to be in the World Cup one day, so I want to take that work ethic right now and hopefully build off it.”

Revolution II will look to secure more points and donuts on April 12 when they host third-placed Red Bull New York II as both sides look to take the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
