While Ayoub Lajhar didn't get a ton of playing time during his Vermont Green FC, he has made history among the alumni of the club.
Lajhar featured in FC Cincinnati's 9-0 win over O&M FC in Concacaf Champions Cup play. This makes him the first former Vermont Green player to feature in a continental competition. The UCONN outside back was also able to tally two assists against the club from the Dominican Republic.
The 21-year-old was selected in the second round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft. Lajhar made 52 appearances with the Huskies over his three-year career and finished his final season with Connecticut as the team’s leader in assists.
