With both a USL League Two and USL W League side taking the field in 2026, Vermont Green FC fans will have plenty of soccer to watch in the summer.
For Vermont Green FC Men, the league schedule consists of seven home matches and seven away matches. The Green will open the season on May 16 at Seacoast United. The home opener is set for Friday, May 22 against Albany Rush and the season finale is against Western Mass Pioneers on Friday July 10 in Ludlow, Massachusetts.
Vermont Green FC Women will begin its inaugural W League campaign with a visit to Hartford Athletic on May 19. It will be the first ever W League match for both clubs.
The Green’s home opener will be on Saturday, May 23 against Hudson Valley Crusaders. The season finale will be on June 27 in Ludlow, Massachusetts against New England Mutiny. In addition to the five home and five away league matches, an additional friendly match will be announced in the coming weeks according to the club.
“2026 will be a historic year for Vermont soccer, with one team defending a national title and the other embarking on its inaugural season.” Vermont Green FC sporting director Adam Pfeifer said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to lock in our men’s and women’s schedules and begin to plan for each matchup. We’ve been working hard to continue growing this organization, and we’re excited to announce more staff and players soon.”
