Vermont Green FC saw its postseason journey continue as it defeated the Ocean City Nor'Easters 4-0.

Seth Wilsons started in goal behind the backline of Nikos Clarke-Tosczak, Brandon Marshall, Nicholas McHenry and Efe Aror. Joseph Picotto and Connor Miller were in the midfield while Xavi O'Neill and Diego Rosas were out wide. Ryan Zellefrow was the No.10 while David Ajagbe was the lone striker up top.

The first real chance came in the 11th minute as Rosas crossed the ball into the box to an open Ajagbe but his header sailed over the goal after being directed to the ground.

Vermont finally opened the scoring as a bouncing ball in the box after a free kick was eventually tapped in by Picotto. He initially had a flailing effort hit the crossbar but while on the ground he was able to flick the ball into the back of the net in the 15th minute.

Ocean City launched a shot that tested Wilson in the 20th minute but the blast was just wide of goal. O'Neill launched a curler of his own in the 31st minute but Ocean City's goalkeeper made a great save and parried the shot away from goal. The Nor'Easters launched another shot from distance in the 39th minute but it sailed wide.

O'Neill would eventually find his goal in the 42nd minute. He flashed some footwork to get by a defender and launched a shot goalward that the Ocean City keeper got a hand on but it deflected upwards into the goal. The goals would continue as Ryan Zellefrow buried a header off of a Rosas cross in the 45th minute.

Zellefrow attempted to volley a shot in the 51st minute but his shot attempt went wayward. As the second half progressed, Vermont was still searching for a goal and putting pressure on Ocean City both on and off the ball.

The pressure would pay off as Vermont had Ocean City pinned back in its own third and Zellefrow fed Rosas who took a touch to get by a defender and smoothly slotted the ball home in the 57th minute.

In the 64th minute as Rosas and Zellefrow were replaced by Jeremy Francou and Andrea Di Blasio. Francou nearly found a goal in the 67th minute but his shot was wide of goal.

In the 70th minute, Vermont made more changes as O'Neill and Clarke-Tosczak were replaced by Trym Linberg and Angelo Ventrella. Ocean City soon after got a chance as it blasted a shot on goal but it wasn't on target and went out for a goal kick in the 72nd minute.

More changes came for Vermont as Ajagbe and Miller were replaced by Will Sawin and Omar Ramadan in the 78th minute. Ventrella launched a powerful shot from outside the box but it was saved and tipped off the crossbar for a corner kick in the 90th minute.

Ocean City was unable to mount a comeback and Vermont's night ended with glee and a 4-0 win. With the win, The Green will face the winners of Asheville City SC and Appalachian FC. As of publishing, Asheville is winning 3-0 after 45 minutes.
