It appears Revolution Homegrown Noel Buck’s long-awaited move to Europe is reportedly nearing completion.

according to GiveMeSport’s Tom Bogert, the Revs are reportedly set to loan the 19-year-old midfielder to Premier League side Southampton. Bogert adds the loan would run through January and includes a purchase option.

After starting his career with the New England Revolution Academy, the Arlington, Massachusetts native rose through the pro-player pathway when he joined Revolution II for their 2021 USL League One season.

Buck’s standout season with Revs II saw him net five goals and an assist. Buck’s efforts with Revs II led him to become the eighth Homegrown signing in January 2022. Since joining the first team, Buck has appeared in 57 matches across all competitions, where he tallied five goals and two assists.

The midfielder’s time with New England has led to him getting noticed at the international level, as he’s been a regular with the England youth system.  Buck has made eight appearances with the England U-19 squad, where he tallied one goal over 437 minutes.
