Since we went independent, our goal has been to provide the most in-depth coverage of the teams and stories that matter most to soccer fans across New England. From match analysis to exclusive interviews, your support has allowed us to grow.
At SB Nation, I was the only person being paid (not a life-changing amount of money). Now we have six members of our staff receiving some sort of compensation (though they deserve a lot more) and are planning on adding more soon.
To continue expanding our coverage and maintaining the quality of our content, we are adjusting our initial monthly subscriber tier to $8.00 per month, effective May 1.
What this means for you:
- Current Subscribers: If you already have an active paid subscription, your price will not change. You are grandfathered in at your original rate for as long as your subscription remains active. This is our way of saying thank you for being with us from the start.
- New Subscribers: Anyone who joins our community before May 1 will lock in the original $5.00 per month rate. If you have been considering upgrading your support, now is the perfect time to do so.
- Annual Subscriptions: If you have an annual subscription, that you will not be affected.
Additionally, we are always looking to add sponsors to support our coverage. If you are looking to partner with The Blazing Musket and highlight your business feel free to reach out.
We want to make it abundantly clear that, if you can't pay for our coverage it is fine. Times are tough and a dollar (or five) doesn't go as far as it used to. Reading, sharing, and interacting with our work is greatly appreciated.
