Nomura's time with Revs II concludes after five years.
Yuta Nomura’s time with New England Revolution II has come to an end.
The Revolution II original took to his Instagram account Monday evening to announce his departure from the club.
“I wanted to say thank you to Revolution II for the incredible five years. You took a chance on me when I was no one. You believed in me when no one did. This club will always have a special place in my heart.”
During his time in New England, Yuta had a hand in developing several goalkeeping prospects like Joe Rice, Yannik Oettl, Nico Campuzano, JD Gunn, Max Weinstein, and a plethora of goalkeepers in the Revolution Academy system,
Nomura’s departure comes following a tough 2024 season that saw Revolution II finish the year at the bottom of the MLS NEXT Pro standings while conceding a near-historic 59 goals.
