Vermont Green FC Signs Defender Nate Jones
The Green continued to boost their back line
Ahead of the 2023 USL League Two season, Vermont Green FC continued to bolster their its back line, signing University of Washington defender Nate Jones pending league and federation approval.
Jones had a stellar junior season in 2022 that saw him be named to the Pac-12 All-Conference Second Team. The defender appeared in all 20 matches, making 19 starts for the Huskies. He tallied two goals and an assist.
The 2023 season is inching closer for the Green as the 2023 schedule will be released in a matter of days. Soon enough Virtue Field will be packed once again and Vermont will be looking to once again find its way into the playoffs.
