Vermont Green FC Releases 2023 Schedule
The 2023 USL League Two campaign begins on May 20th
Fans of Vermont Green FC can now plan out their summers as the 2023 USL League Two schedule has been released.
The Green will open their season in Massachusetts against the Boston Bolts on Saturday, May 20th at 2:00 pm before hosting Albany Blackwatch Rush for their home opener on Friday, May 26th at 7:00 pm.
The regular season stretches until late July, with the final match set to be played on Sunday, July 16th at 7:00 pm against Boston City FC at Virtue Field. Nearly 750 fans have already secured their 2023 season tickets — already double the total from last season — according to the club.
“We want to compete for a divisional championship this year and continue to grow into one of the top USL League Two clubs in the country,” said Vermont Green FC co-founder Sam Glickman. “What really sets us apart from other clubs is the community that shows up to support this team. We can’t wait to spend another summer together.”
Sporting director and head coach Adam Pfeifer is also excited for the 2023 season to get underway.
“After such a thrilling and successful inaugural season on and off the field in 2022, we couldn’t be more eager to get started on our second campaign,” he said. “We finished our season in front of a sold out Virtue Field and can’t wait to play in front of our fans again.”
