Noah Fuson Earns USL All-League Second Team Honor for 2024
The forward is racking up the accolades
Rhode Island FC forward Noah Fuson has been named to the USL Championship All-League Second Team for the 2024 season. The honor follows a season that also saw Fuson named the league’s Golden Playmaker, the title earned after he recorded a league-leading 10 assists over the course of the regular season.
Fuson featured in 33 matches for the Amber and Blue in the club’s inaugural season, with 25 appearances coming as a starter. The former Columbus Crew 2 man logged 2,415 minutes across the regular season, finishing fourth in the league in goal contributions with 18.
The veteran forward proved to be a vital piece for RIFC’s inaugural season, playing a major role in this team earning a spot in the playoffs and continuing to do so as their playoff run continues.
This is not the first honor that Fuson has earned, as he was previously named to the USL Team of the Week back in Week 29 after scoring the tying goal in what would end up being a 2-1 comeback over Tulsa FC at home.
The 2024 USL Championship All-League Teams were voted on by club management and a league-wide media panel that included representation from every USL market.
Looking to make history, Rhode Island FC will travel to Patriots Point Soccer Stadium in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina to face Charleston Battery in the USL Eastern Conference Championship on Saturday, November 16th. A win would see the expansion-side reach the championship in their first-year of competitive play.
