Revolution Announce 2024 Preseason Schedule
Caleb Porter and the Revs will take part in four preseason friendlies ahead of the 2024 campaign!
The start of preseason is right around the corner for the New England Revolution, who announced a slate of friendlies ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Preseason will officially kick off on January 13th, when players undergo entrance physicals at the Revolution Training Facility. After a week of training in Foxboro (January 15th - 19th), the team will trek south to Bradenton, Florida, where they will begin a four-week training camp at the renowned IMG Academy.
During their time in Florida, Caleb Porter and the Revolution will partake in four friendlies. The first coming on January 24th against the New York Red Bulls at 1:00 PM ET at IMG Academy. They’ll then face the 2023 Supporters’ Shield champions, FC Cincinnati, on February 1st at noon ET at IMG Academy.
Games three and four will see a change of scenery as the Revs will face Orlando City SC on February 10th at 7:30 PM ET. The location for this match was not listed, but it's worth noting the 2023 preseason saw the Revolution take on Orlando City inside Exploria Stadium.
Despite their preseason finale coming on Valentine's Day, there will be no love between them and the Philadelphia Union as they face off inside Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex at noon ET. Febuary 14th's meeting marks the first meeting between both clubs since Philly eliminated the Revs in the first round of the 2023 playoffs.
Unfortunately, it appears none of the four games will be livestreamed as they will be played “behind closed doors”.
Following the preseason, the Revolution will kick off their competitive campaign on February 21st, as they travel to Estadio Universitario FC in Panama to take on CA Independiente in Leg 1 of Round 1 in the revamped Concacaf Champions Cup.
