Instant Reactions:
After not featuring in both of Ecuador’s World Cup Qualifying matches during September’s international window, Campana returns to New England with an abductor injury that will keep him out Saturday.
2025 has seen two separate hamstring injuries keep Campana out of action for a combined eight matches across all competitions. The severity of the abductor injury and return timetable are unknown, but hopefully it’s something that doesn’t keep him out long-term. Campana’s debut campaign in New England has seen him tally six goals and an assist over 21 league appearances.
Caleb Porter indicated Matt Polster would not be available for Saturday during Thursday’s press conference. It marks the third consecutive match Polster has missed, with his last appearance coming on August 24th. 2025 has seen Polster tally a goal and an assist over 23 league appearances.
With Polster out, 18-year-old Ugandan midfielder Allan Oyirwoth will make his first start for the Revolution after making his MLS debut last week.
Since arriving in New England, Oyirwoth has notched one goal in 12 appearances with Revolution II. Oyirwoth also had a good run of games with the first team during the Open Cup run earlier this year, where he clocked 165 minutes.
Forward Ignatius Ganago is questionable ahead of Saturday’s meeting as he deals with a calf issue. It marks the second injury concern for the Nantes loanee. Ganago missed nine matches earlier this season after being placed on the short-term injured list after picking up a quad injury while on international duty. The Cameroonian forward has tallied four goals and three assists over 20 league appearances this season.
While not listed on the injury report, Dor Turgeman will not be making his Revolution debut as the 21-year-old has yet to report to New England since signing for the club on August 20. Recent international duty and waiting for a visa, has postponed his debut.
Toronto defender Nicksoen Gomis remains out after suffering an Achilles injury in May. The 23-year-old appeared in six matches for Toronto before the injury.
Defender Zane Monlouis will miss his 11th consecutive match as he deals with an abductor injury. The 21-year-old appeared in 10 games before the injury.
Defender Henry Wingo will miss a 13th straight match as he works his way back from a quadriceps injury that required surgery in June. The 29-year-old appeared in six games before the injury.
