Mo Mohamed Signs Permanent Deal With Portland Hearts of Pine
“He’s got the one thing you can’t teach, he’s super athletic."
Mo Mohamed has signed with Portland Hearts of Pine after a successful 25-day contract.
“Mo is learning every day,” head coach Bobby Murphy said. “He’s got the one thing you can’t teach, he’s super athletic. He’s a great kid. He’s got a lot to learn. I think he’ll be good cover for us moving forward.”
Mohamed signed a short-term deal on May 23 after leaving Portland Timbers 2. The defender played collegiately at Seattle University, scoring one goal and adding two assists in 18 appearances during the 2024 season.
Mohamed plays as an outside back, primarily on the right. He had a goal against Detroit City FC in the Jagermeister Cup.
