Azaad Liadi Signs A Season Long Loan With Hearts of Pine from Lexington SC
Bobby Murphy adds a much needed second striker to his Hearts roster.
Azaad Liadi was acquired by Portland Hearts of Pine from Lexington SC on a season-long loan and will be reunited with Ollie Wright from their days at Huntsville and MLS Next Pro days.
The 26-year-old striker has a habit of scoring in USL League One. He signed his first professional contract with FC Tucson in 2020. He signed with Tormenta in 2021 and scored nine goals in 27 appearances. In 22/23 season Liadi made stops in Loudoun United in the USL Championship and also made a brief stop at D.C. United.
Then Liadi found Ollie Wright in Huntsville and scored 12 goals in 22 appearances. The striker cooled off in 2024, scoring two goals with a Lexington SC side that was buying Championship talent to move up in 2025.
Now back in Wrights’ assisting presence and a much stronger team around them compared to Huntsville.
