Wednesday saw fans get a better insight into the Revolution’s financial situation as Major League Soccer released updated General Allocation Money for every MLS club.
The Revolution enter the 2026 season with $3,301,754 in General Allocation Money, which is the third-least in the league. This past offseason saw an influx of cash move in and out of the club.
December 18, 2025, the club received $150,000 from D.C. United in exchange for the eighth overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft. The Revs also received $100,000 from Minnesota United in exchange for Tomás Chancalay on December 26, 2025. January 20 saw the Revs send the Vancouver Whitecaps $125,000 to acquire Griffin Yow’s Discovery Priority.
While the $3,301,754 seems low, expect that number to rise as the Revolution should receive an additional $2 million in GAM as they go with the two Designated Player and four U22 roster model.
