Boston Legacy FC goalkeeper Casey Murphy has been added to the season-ending injury list.
The keeper suffered a partial tear of her posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in her right knee during the club’s match against the Portland Thorns on October 3, in which she played the full 90 minutes.
Murphy is expected to make a full recovery for the start of the 2027 regular season.
The goalkeeper has played all but two games this season. She previously missed matches against Angel City FC and the Utah Royals in early September for a minor finger injury.
She is one of the three players currently on the SEI list, alongside midfielder Chloe Ricketts and forward Fauzia Najjemba.
