Group C results went as they were expected to, despite a tremendous first half showing from Haiti who was already eliminated prior to the start of the day.
BRAZIL 3, SCOTLAND 0
If Scotland was going to have any serious chance in this one...getting caught in their own box in possession twice in the first half probably wasn't in the game plan,. Luckily for the Tartan Army only one of those calamitous errors actually counted against them.
Vinicius Junior capitalized on that early error and added another before halftime to send Brazil on their way to another first-placebuild-up finish. VAR chalked off a similar attempt later in the half after determining there was a foul in the build up...and by foul we mean something not nearly as bad as what caused Uzbekistan's thunderbastard to be called back yesterday.
But really,, this comes down to Brazil simply being the world giants that they are because this is just an impressive run of form at the World Cup:

Matheus Cunha added a third at the hour mark as Brazil generated over 4.0 xG on 9-of-21 shooting compared to Scotland's 1.0 xG number on a 5-of-14 effort. Vini Jr.'s three goals in as many group stage matches also puts him in elite company in Brazil World Cup lore, as he's the fifth member of the Selecao to accomplish the feat.
MOROCCO 4, HAITI 2
Full credit to Les Grenadiers making a game of this, with Lenny Joseph's backheel opener (officially an Own Goal but I'd appeal that even if that was off target and off the back of the keeper) followed by Wilson Isidor's wonderstrike right before halftime giving Haiti two memorable goals from this tournament.
The downside is Haiti conceded twice right before halftime in the 39th and stoppage time with Achraf Hakimi bundling home and Ismael Saibari firing into the low corner to equalize for the Atlas Lions.
Soufiane Rahimi and Gessime Yassine tallied towards the end of the second have to give Morocco the win but their second-placerunner-ups finish was assured with Brazil's victory.
This is all about Joseph (potentially and absolutely in spirit) and Isidor adding their names to the vaunted list of players to score for Haiti a World Cup, joining Emmanuel "Manno" Sanon who netted twice back in 1974.

Brazil as group winners move on to face the runner-ups of Group F while Morocco will play the group winners on Monday July 29. Netherlands and Japan lead Group F on four points with Sweden just behind on three points. The Blue Samurai versus the Blue and Yellow later today is a game both teams should keep an eye on.
Scotland have to wait for the third-place standings to shake out, but with only three points and a negative goal difference, they're behind South Korea in the tiebreaker already. If they do advance, a potential game against Mexico could await them.
