Vermont Green FC Names Women's Squad
Talented players from across the region will be playing in Burlington
Ahead of Saturday’s historic friendly, Vermont Green FC has named the squad that will be representing the club in the inaugural women’s exhibition match.
24 women make up Sam Mewis’ squad. 14 players are from the New England region with five players representing the Green Mountain State. Neve Renwick is the lone international hailing from the United Kingdom.
There will also be a familiar name on the roster as Shea O’Malley will be the second member of the family to represent The Green. Her brother Owen was apart of the inaugural squad and currently plays for Tacoma Defiance.
