Emma Hayes has revealed her 24-player U.S. Women's National Team (USWNT) roster for the upcoming friendlies against China and Jamaica, set for May 31 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and June 3 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Veteran Returns and New Faces
Defender Naomi Girma makes her first appearance of 2025 after returning from injury. The roster also features first-time call-ups for 32-year-old midfielder Lo’eau LaBonta, defender Kerry Abello, and goalkeeper Claudia Dickey.
Notable Absences
The squad will be without key forwards Trinity Rodman (injury), Mallory Swanson (pregnancy), and Sophia Smith (personal reasons). Midfielder Rose Lavelle and defender Tierna Davidson will also be missed due to injuries.
Korbin Albert was also not called up to the squad.
Midfield and Forward Lines
The midfield is anchored by Sam Coffey and Lindsey Heaps, with young talents like Olivia Moultrie and Lily Yohannes. Up front, the team lines up with Catarina Macario, Lynn Biyendolo, and rising stars Alyssa and Gisele Thompson.
