While I understand the phrase "unbeaten streak" it really, really makes me grit my teeth.

The stat that stands out to me is that the Revs had 15 multi-goal losses last year. They have one this year. The games are tight, and they're finding ways to win recently. That's a positive.

Fine, then find a way to say that rather than saying "unbeaten streak". Revs' keeping things tight. Revs not losing by lots. But to me, a sports fan who has followed lots of other sports longer than soccer, when you say UNBEATEN STREAK, it means YOU'VE WON.

That’s called a winning streak in soccer. Ties are a key part of the game. That’s why they keep writing the total points collected out of the total available

In the long run ties can put you out of the playoff picture. You are still dropping two points that can make it or break it for you in the end.
