It's probably safe to assume he survives the season, but will depart either this winter or definitely by next summer. I doubt the club would move on from him after just 12 months, and the contract extension was smart since that should add a sizeable chunk to the transfer fee.
I brought this up earlier in preseason and I think it likely that they sell him - but I hope is a Tajon-like deal where he stays through the end of the season, as Seth suggested. He’s just too good and teams are going to want him
