Instant Reactions:
Peyton Miller will be unavailable as the 17-year-old is currently in Chile with the United States Under-20 team as the nation prepares for the upcoming FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Peyton Miller is someone who has shown a significant amount of development in recent years. It’s something he’ll get more of in the coming weeks as he and the U.S. U-20s square off against some of the world’s best youth players from around the world.
Saturday will mark the third consecutive absence for loanee Ignatius Ganago, who continues to recover from a calf injury.
2025 has been a roller coaster of a year for the Cameroonian forward. While he’s tallied three goals and four assists, several injury spells have kept him from being a regular in the Revs lineup recently.
After featuring in the first 17 league matches, a hamstring injury put Ganago on the shelf for nine games. Ganago made his return on August 10th and played five before this ongoing calf injury forced him out of the lineup again.
It remains uncertain when Ganago will return to the pitch. With just two games remaining following Saturday’s clash with Atlanta, little time is left for Ganago to make an impact on the decision makers on whether or not the club will exercise a purchase option to bring him to New England on a full-time basis.
Saturday could also mark the fourth consecutive game missed by Leo Campan. The forward departed the club earlier this month for international duty with Ecuador, but appeared to have suffered an abductor injury in the process that’s kept him out of action.
Like Ganago, 2025 has been a roller coaster for Campana. After arriving from Inter Miami in what was a record GAM trade worth $2.5 million, several injury spells throughout the season have kept Campana out for periods of time.
A muscle injury forced him out just 10 minutes into March 9th’s match against Philadelphia and kept him out for three games. A hamstring issue forced Campana out in the 32nd minute of May 18th’s match against San Jose and kept him out for the next four.
Despite the turbulence of the 2025 season, Campana has slowly produced when available. His 21 appearances have seen him tally six goals and an assist over 1,493 minutes.
Ilay Feingold joins the player status report as he deals with an ankle issue. The severity of the ankle injury and whether he’ll be good to go on Saturday is unknown.
Feingold has been a tremendous addition to the Revs’ backline this season. Outside of an ankle injury earlier this season, Feingold has been a consistent presence for the Revs. He’s tallied three goals and three assists in 28 appearances for the club.
With Miller out, hopefully the ankle injury isn’t anything serious, and we see Feingold on the pitch on Saturday.
Atlanta midfielder Luke Brennan joins Peyton Miller in Chile as part of the U.S. U-20 squad preparing for the U-20 World Cup.
The 20-year-old has been a consistent presence in the starting lineup lately. Brennan has started in five of his last eight appearances for the club.
In 13 appearances, Brennan has bagged three assists over 453 minutes of action.
Right back Matt Edwards is set to miss his ninth consecutive match across all competitions for Atlanta as he continues working back from a hamstring injury.
Edwards has been a consistent presence in the Atlanta lineup as he’s gotten the start in 11 of 20 appearances this year. He’s tallied one assist over 1,209 minutes.
Jay Fortune’s season came to an unfortunate end on June 24th after a foot injury forced the midfielder to have season-ending surgery.
Before the injury, Fortune appeared in 15 matches for the club, where he tallied a goal in 781 minutes of action.
Will Reilly will miss a second game as the midfielder continues recovering from a hamstring injury. Reilly will miss a bit more time as he was slated to be re-evaluated in “three-to-four weeks on September 17th.”
Before the hamstring injury, Reilly had been an option off the bench for Atlanta as he tallied one goal over 11 appearances for the club.
