Patrick Leal is in his second season playing in central midfield for Revs II after having spent several years in Europe. Leal spent time in Portugal and Italy, playing in both Sporting CP and Venezia’s academy teams. He capped off his time in Europe with an appearance in Serie A, Italy’s top division and one of the top five leagues in the world.
Leal has been a mainstay in the Revs II lineup since arriving in the middle of 2023 and has shown himself to be a well rounded central midfield player in all phases of play. The twenty-one year old talked to us about his European experience, being back with the Revs organization and his goal to reach the first team.
