The New England Revolution played their first match of 2025 which wasn’t closed to the public. New England faced off against Atlanta United on Saturday and had lackluster performance compared to the start of the preseason.
Aljaz Ivacic started in net behind the back line of Brandon Bye, Brayan Ceballos, Mamadou Fofana, and Will Sands. Jackson Yueill and Alhassan Yusuf were the defensive midfield duo while Luca Langoni and Ignatius Ganago were on the wings. Leo Campana started at striker while Carles Gil played in his familiar No. 10 role.
